Support and control of safety requirements on Renewable Energy

Workplace control

1.​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​Provide supervision on compliance with legislative and other regulatory norms on HSE within departments. 2.​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​Ensure that departmental operational plans meet the objectives and targets established by KBL HSE Policies. 3.​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​Check and sign the permits-to-work (PTW), ensures that all the potential hazards identified and necessary safety precautions are specified on the PTW. Inspects worksites for compliance with PTW requirements. 4.​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​Together with department specialists arrange risk assessments to be conducted for the work activities carried out under their control. 5.​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​Participate in conducting of inspections, technical surveys of the buildings, installations, equipment, machineries, efficiency of the ventilation systems, ablutions, equipment for collective and personal protection. 6.​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​Take actions to suspend operation of machinery, equipment and work activities when reveal the nonconformities threatening to the workers’ life and health or if they could lead to an accident. 7.​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​Participate in incident and accident investigations, developing actions to prevent occupational diseases and work-related accidents and improving working conditions. 8.​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​Participate in developing and revising HSE sections of the instructions and procedures in departments where he is assigned to work. 9.​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​Arrange and actively participates in the safety meetings held by HSE Dept. and relevant departments where he is assigned to work, as well as Contractors. 10.​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​Work with departments’ managers to provide support and continuously improve HSE performance, provide methodical guidance through briefings and trainings. 11.​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​Work with Contractors and Subcontractors to ensure safe work execution at the Company facilities. 12.​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​Cooperate with safety supervisors/engineers from other departments to synchronise the activities and effective use of resources.​ ​ 13.​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​Participate in activities of the Departmental Examination Commission to test the knowledge of the emlpoyees. 14.​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​Contribute to increasing safety culture through toolbox talks, safety meetings and training. 15.​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​Use PPE and ensure their use by other Company’s employees, Contractors and Subcontractors. 16.​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​Provide recommendations, related to selection, use and maintenance of PPE, working clothing and protective equipment and supervises storing, issuing, washing and utilising arrangements. 17.​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​Report HSE performance in accordance with established forms and submission dates. 18.​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​Serve as a technical resource for department employees sharing his experience and knowledge and providing feedback. 19.​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​In case of business necessity drives company vehicles obeying mandatory requirements of traffic rules and road safety procedures. 20.​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​Supervise executing corrective actions on the findings of incident investigations, internal and external inspections and audits. 21.​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​Prepare responses on inquiries, prescriptions and questions requested by Company Management, parent companies and state supervisory bodies. 22.​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​Interact with all organisational levels of Company. 23.​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​Serve as a Company representative on HSE issues for Contractors and Subcontractors. 24.​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​Ensure up-to-date information in the emergency response plans for the facilities under his/her area of responsibility. 25.​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​Participate in emergency drills and exercises held in the departments where he/she is assigned to work, lays out action plans to eliminate revealed deficiencies and learn lessons. 26.​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​Conduct training for employees on the use of fire fighting appliances and initial emergency response actions (accident, fire, road traffic incident etc.). 27.​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​Participate in HSE inspection and audits, carried out by management and state supervisory bodies at Company, Contractors and Subcontractors facilities. 28.​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​Participate in periodic work conditions certification of industrial facilities. 29.​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​Take knowledge test every 3 years to be certified. 30.​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​Implement other tasks given by Line Manager within own competence.

Verification of the conformity process of production works, qualities of work and non-compliance with requirements; Interaction with regulatory authorities; Development of instructions on HSE and TB; Registration and reception of employees for work with the passage of briefings and organization of personnel training on HSE; Work with inspection organizations on HSE and OSHA, technical inspection, etc .; Studying of all legal acts and their introduction at the enterprise; Implementation of control over compliance with legislative and other regulatory and legal acts on labor protection; Development of measures to prevent accidents at work; Work with normative and technological documentation; Maintenance of necessary documentation on labor protection, fire safety; Participation in the work Commission for the verification of knowledge requirements for labor protection, attestation of workplaces; Conducting audits of those. Condition of equipment, mechanisms, determination of their compliance with the requirements of regulatory and legal acts on HSE; Reporting on safety and labor protection in accordance with established forms and in the appropriate time frame. Participation in the development of methodological materials for the training of occupational safety, as well as collection and processing with the completion of data in the program Safe Behavior Program (PBP-BBS).
