• Participates in audits, inspections of technical condition of buildings, structures, equipment and machinery, the sanitary-engineering installations, means of collective and individual protection of employees, determining their compliance with regulations on health and safety normative acts, and taking measures to stop the operation of the equipment and production of works in case of violations that may pose a threat to life and health of employees, or may cause an accident was detected; • Monitors the HSE laws, procedures, norms and regulations; • Participate in the technical inspections of the equipment, ensures the safety of its operation, if required, notifies the Field Safety Manager of the equipment shutdown; • Ensures the timeliness inspections of the equipment, steam generator units, compressed gas cylinders, taps, valves, lifting equipment on proper operation/exploitation; • Carry’s out the instructions and orders of the supervisory bodies, involved in commissioning operations (during commissioning) of new facilities / installations / buildings / equipment; • Participates in the development and implementation of the internal safety norms and regulations, and training programs, hold initial and periodical meetings with the employees at the workplace; • Monitor the working conditions at workplaces, develop and submit proposals for the development and implementation of more advanced designs of protective equipment, safety and locking devices, other means of hazardous and harmful factors protection; • Performs safety instructions and appropriate training actions in emergency situations; • Ensures the applications for work clothes, personal protective equipment (PPE) is correctly filled out and explains the requirement of PPE compulsory use; • Take courses, take exams and comply with the safety regulations, applicable laws of RoK, KPO and "KPDC" procedures, during the works at the facilities of the company "KPDC";

Ensure rig complies with requirements • Maintaining and updating Rig evacuation plans, procedures and measures • Provide information to Management on accidents/incidents in a timely manner according to established procedures. Monitor compliance against the monthly HSE schedule • Coordinate with the Rig Manager concerning the implementation of the Rig Management System on-site and the ongoing instructions to all personnel in its use • Monitor/chair/participate in regularly scheduled HSE meetings held at rigs and camps • Oversee implementation of operational systems and procedures to include but not be limited to Permit to Work System, Lock-Out/Tag-Out System, Hazardous Chemical -MSDS, PPE System, H2S Awareness, Benchmarking and other required training activities • Monitor readiness/response to emergency situations through regularly held and documented drills • Execution/Reviewing/Monitoring of required QHSE inspection for rigs and camps, reporting findings to the Rig Manager • Maintenance of the Corrective Action Register for non-compliance items arising from meetings and inspections • Maintenance of the Lifting & Slings Registers and Inspection Program for rigs in the area • Monitor compliance with Travel/Journey Management System where applicable • Establishing, maintaining, implementing and improving QHSE Management System.
