 report to the Department Head, the main function of the role is to execute proper planning and facilitating activities.  responsible for leadership of a functional area on a Gathering system project.  support and manage Contractor WFP planners with the development and assembly of IWPs, ensuring that safety, quality and efficiency at the Workface are considered in the planning process in accordance with the quality system in force within the Discipline, TCO procedures, job requirements, and time schedule.  review Plot plan and Equipment layouts, 2D Piping General Arrangement Drawings, 3D model and isometric sketches, material availability reports.  coordinates with and provides construction knowledge to project schedulers, engineers, other WFP facilitators and superintendents.  identifies specific risks associated with executing the planned activities.  reviewing final IWP for completeness and accuracy.  constraint identification and clearance.  provide continuous support of the IWP process from initial IWP scoping sessions through to the IWP close out.

Develops the Workface Planning Implementation Plan, taking into account the requirements of Exhibit H, into a cohesive WFP execution strategy across all applicable CWPs.  Manages IWP coordination in support of the Path of Construction, CWP Installation Sequence Plan, and Schedule.  Facilitates IWP scoping sessions, constraint removal sessions and IWP closeout meetings.  Audits IWPs for completeness and compliance.  Works with construction schedulers.  Works with the Engineering organization and the constructability team to align Construction Work Packages (CWPs) sequence and IWPs sequence.  Ensures that the data required to build IWP packages is available and accurate.  Facilitates and expedites the removal of construction constraints throughout the Project.  Assists in the Project Controls Team to align their data management (Unit rates, milestones, quantities, and schedule) and reporting structure with the application of Workface Planning.  Works with team to help define and arrange their WFP training requirements.  Ensures good IWP record keeping in accordance with WFP department guidelines and procedures.  Assists the WFP manager as required.  Other duties as required.

Prepare and update material procurement schedule and material status and forwarding to head office.  Evaluates quotations obtained from different suppliers & subcontractors, ensures quantities and specifications are in line with tender and projects specifications.  Preparation of payment application and agreeing with Client.  Prepares cost estimate for different phases of the project, advices the project management on possible cost over runs and on the action necessary to remain within the approved project budget.  Works very close with the project team to ensure that measurements, variations and contractual matters are properly recorded and notified.  Performs material take offs prior to the purchase requisitions for the projects and reports any irregularities or discrepancies to the project management.  Performs and implements all post contract duties including but not limited to measurements, preparation of variations orders, analysis of site design changes, interim valuation certificates, final accounts & evaluation reports.  Ensures proper records of agreed measurement-oriented / Item rate variation with the client's authorized representative and ensures compliance with such rates is maintained.  Examines, controls and evaluates sub-contractor’s invoices and ensures the contractual obligations are satisfied and advices the project management on payments of the same.  Take off quantities from AFC drawings and for variations  Identify changes from AFC and Tender drawings  Requests for variations, compiling Pricing of VO based on Contract unit rates, VO submissions  Preparation of final account

 Design activities in EWRP buildings, designing of HVAC and piping (firewater, utility air, utility water systems and etc.) according to project standards and specifications using AutoCAD 2D & 3D.  developing plot plans, equipment layouts, isometrics and pipe routing layouts.  preparation of red lines (mark-up) on drawings during construction and submitting to the end user (proponent) for approval, prior to make the final as-built drawings.  verifying pipe supports, valves, guides, shoe supports and NDT completion and approving/releasing packages for hydro test.  perform Field Checks of Job cards.  issue Site Queries, Site Instructions when required.  ensure that all aspects of the project design comply with legal acts, safety and client requirements and procedures.  perform “as-built” of installed piping according to procedures.  coordinate with other disciplines and report any occurs which may delay the progress of the project.  issue reports (clash, Material traceability, weld summary and etc).  submit to Project standards, specifications, documents and drawings for issue.  obtain detailed knowledge of the site scope of the work.  keep working time, also participate in meetings as required in project.  perform other duties when instructed by superior.
